Grandma, or Gran as she preferred to be called (we always went to so much trouble to make sure we found christmas cards with 'Gran' on!) passed away unexpectedly on 10th November 2007. She was a fighting spirit and we all thought she would live to be at least 100...needless to say her passing deeply upset her step-daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kay, as she was known to friends, spent much of her life looking after others, particularly her husband, Lenoard, my Grandad, who suffered with his legs. She will always be dearly remembered.

Hi Grandma, well its been a little while sonce I've been on, came to see you new years eve, I left you two sprays of carnations so Grandad can have some too. It is weird how fast time has gone, some days drag but on the other hand, over 3 years has past by in a blink, I was only thinking about it the other day how we got the call that you were hurt and I thought you would be just fine as normal but still something told me it was important to come and see and the something was right.
Anyway I went to see Betty recently and I'm sure you know she was moving away the next day so now in Nottingham, I must write to her soon. Its a bit sad as that means no connection to where you lived now...although I will probably still try and park there when I go dentists :-)

Kay, its been 3 years today since you were taken from us, & went to Heaven. Its still as much a shock now as it was then. It was SO sudden & so quick. Miss you so much, would love to be sitting in your house right now having a cup of coffee & a good chat. Gayle, Kerry & I talk about you very often, we have so many memories of you. Why was it that you had to leave us? Love you very much, now & always
